Mushroom Patties

Low in saturated fat, fiber-packed, and high in nutrients!

 

RECIPE

Preparation: 10 minutes | Cooking time: 15 minutes | Serves: 6

 

  • 200g blended mushrooms

  • 5 slices blended whole grain bread

  • 1 large cup wholemeal flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 diced large onion

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • ¼ cup italian herbs mixed

  • ⅕ cup plant milk

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • ½ can blackbeans

 

METHOD

In a frying pan cook onion and garlic in olive oil till well cooked. Then in a food processor mix all the rest of the ingredients together. Add onion and garlic to the mixture afterwards and make sure it is mixed well. Use extra flour if needed when creating the patties. Fry in olive oil and serve in a burger bun with gherkin dressing (see sides for recipe).
